Team McGorty

Team McGorty was created in support of Dennis McGorty, a husband, father, avid cyclist, and two-time ACC decathlon champion during his track and field career at the University of North Carolina. On May 20, 2013, Dennis was paralyzed in a serious cycling accident. Team McGorty follows the road to recovery for Dennis, his wife Anita and their two young children.

It also provides avenues of support to organizations driving spinal cord injury research and rehabilitation initiatives that bring hope and advances to Dennis and the six million people living with paralysis in this country.
